Jacob founded Shared Steps at the end of 2025, bringing five years of experience across both individual and group programs. He's passionate about working with young adults, helping them build confidence through skill development and strong community connections.
Jacob's hobbies and skills: woodworking, cooking, gardening, fishing and all things outdoors, are woven into everything Shared Steps offers. He loves teaching and learning alongside both participants and staff.
His support style is all about enthusiasm, fun, and mateship. Jacob thrives on bringing people together and helping participants build lifelong friendships with one another.
Jacob created Shared Steps with a bigger vision in mind: a program that benefits not just its participants, but the wider Fremantle community too. By collaborating and working together, there's so much the team and the local community can learn from and enjoy with each other.

Daisy brings creativity, warmth and a genuine passion for helping people to Shared Steps. She studied Visual Arts at TAFE after high school, and that creative background shines through in her work with participants.
Daisy was drawn to Shared Steps by its vision of peer-to-peer, skills-based learning, and the chance to help young adults build meaningful relationships within their community. Her journey into support work began while living rurally, where she supported a young child with cerebral palsy. An experience that had a profound and positive impact on her life and inspired her to keep working in the sector.
Daisy believes great support looks different for everyone. She loves getting to know each participant as an individual, adapting her approach to help them feel comfortable, confident and supported.
Outside of work, you'll usually find her line dancing, singing, gardening, horse riding, sewing, painting or cooking. Basically if it's creative, Daisy's done it.
Fun fact: she once lived on a farm looking after goats, sheep and chickens.
